had to grab these projects pt.1
feel free to support. most if not all will be independent artist
Hey, whats good?
I’d like to start sharing projects that I’ve purchased here. These will not be full reviews but what resonated with me. The line between fan and artist is blurry for me at this point. Basically I like what I like. Click the image or title to be redirected to their pages. Aight so boom…

Favorite track right now? “River”
I watched this cat make a lot of this album live on twitch. Always found it interesting to see other beatmaker’s process. You lowkey can get a small peek into their minds. Omari Jazz has been killin’ it for a min going back to when the beat community was thriving on Soundcloud. Dream Child has such a calming/healing feel. With how crazy the world is right now this is a great escape from it all. I got so much game watching him do his thing live. Glad to see this project is doing really well because he deserves it. Plus the proceeds goes to charity so why not support?

Favorite track right now? “Lake”
Met Jason through his brother Johnnie who mixed and mastered my EP Close Your Eyes. Got to hang out with them for bit awhile back. Their family is super talented. Was fortunate enough to watch them jam out in their living room. Never experienced anything like that and it left me crazy inspired. His jazz and beat music is soothing to me. Please go and run everything then spread it.

Favorite track right now? “Hold On”
I’ve been bumping this project since it came out in 2018. From the instrumentation to the vocals to the illustrations. I love music that’ll have you doing mental deep dives. My favorite track on here changes often. I’m glad I grabbed the vinyl because this joint a classic to me. Originally came across him through Soundcloud and was floored by everything I heard. Go check out all his recent releases as well….its worth it.

Favorite track right now? “Focus”
Another crazy talented cat that need to be heard. We were in a small beatmaker collective years back called “Grandstaff”. Ever since then I’ve been keeping an eye out for all his releases. He’s well versed in many different instruments. You can find videos on his social media that put this talent on display. This project is a re-release and it sounds really great all the way through. “Focus” has helped me on many trying days at work. I’d leave on a delivery, press play and be in a decent headspace by time I get to my destination. There’s something in the water in VA for sure. Give an ear
That’s a wrap for Pt.1. Be sure to follow and share these artist if you dig what you hear. I’ll be doing four projects at a time so stay tuned for the next one.
